The world of waste recycling is evolving rapidly, and with growing concerns about environmental sustainability, companies are increasingly turning to advanced machinery to address the challenges of recycling mixed materials. At EcoRecycling Systems, we specialize in offering innovative solutions that help businesses recycle materials efficiently, reduce waste, and lower carbon footprints.
One of our most successful projects involved selling our Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine to GreenTech Solutions, a leading waste recycling company in Germany. This case study highlights the process from the initial inquiry to the final installation, showing how our machinery helped GreenTech Solutions improve their recycling efficiency and meet their sustainability goals.
GreenTech Solutions had been dealing with a growing volume of mixed aluminum-plastic waste, primarily from consumer packaging and electronic components. Their existing methods of handling these materials were costly and inefficient, resulting in significant amounts of waste and lower recovery rates.

“We’ve been looking for a way to efficiently process aluminum-plastic composites for quite some time,” said Mr. Klaus Schmidt, CEO of GreenTech Solutions. “Our existing equipment wasn’t up to the task, and we were struggling to find a solution that could handle the complexity of aluminum-plastic separation while maintaining high throughput.”
The need for an efficient solution that could not only separate aluminum and plastic but also ensure that both materials were properly recycled was clear. After researching the market, GreenTech Solutions came across our Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine and reached out for more information.
We understood that the decision to invest in new recycling equipment would be a significant one for GreenTech Solutions. So, we arranged a demonstration of our Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine at our facility in Shenzhen, China. The team at GreenTech Solutions, led by Mr. Schmidt, flew to China for a full tour of our production lines and to witness the machine in action.
Upon arrival, Mr. Schmidt and his team were impressed by the scale of our facility. “It’s amazing to see how efficiently everything operates,” said Mr. Schmidt. “This looks like exactly what we need to streamline our operations.”
The Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine we showcased uses a combination of mechanical separation, advanced air classification, and high-frequency vibrating sieves to efficiently separate aluminum from plastic. The result is two high-quality, recyclable materials—aluminum and plastic—that can be reused in various industries, such as automotive, construction, and packaging.
During the demonstration, Mr. Schmidt observed the entire process, from the feeding of mixed waste to the final separation of aluminum and plastic. “The separation process is incredibly precise,” he noted. “We’ve had problems in the past with other machines leaving behind significant amounts of aluminum or plastic. But this system looks like it can handle the job with much better efficiency.”
After the demonstration, the next step was a full-scale trial run using a batch of mixed aluminum-plastic waste from GreenTech Solutions' facilities. Our engineers set up the machine and optimized its settings to replicate the conditions that would be present at the client’s site.
“We want to see how this machine handles real-world materials and whether it meets our expectations for efficiency and throughput,” said Mr. Schmidt.
The trial run was a success. The Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine processed the mixed materials quickly, with minimal downtime. The system accurately separated the aluminum and plastic, delivering two clean streams of material. The efficiency was much higher compared to their existing system.
“The results speak for themselves,” Mr. Schmidt said after the trial run. “We’ve been able to recover nearly 98% of the aluminum and plastic. In our current operation, we were lucky to get 80%. This will be a game changer for us.”
Following the successful trial, GreenTech Solutions made the decision to move forward with purchasing the Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine. They placed an order for 5 units, which would be installed at their main recycling plant in Hamburg. The machine’s capacity was designed to handle up to 1,500 kg of mixed material per hour, a significant increase in their processing capacity.
“We’re confident that this new machinery will allow us to double our recycling throughput,” Mr. Schmidt commented. “Not only does this machine provide us with higher recovery rates, but it also helps us meet the increasing demand for sustainable recycling solutions. This is exactly what we need to stay competitive in the market and contribute to environmental sustainability.”
The Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine was successfully installed in GreenTech Solutions’ Hamburg facility, with our engineers providing full training to the staff. After the installation, GreenTech Solutions quickly ramped up their recycling operations. The new system proved to be efficient and reliable, with minimal maintenance required.
A few months later, Mr. Schmidt reported significant improvements: “We’ve already seen a 30% increase in throughput, and our operational costs have reduced by 15%. The reduction in waste is also remarkable, and we’re proud to be making a tangible contribution to sustainability.”
This case study with GreenTech Solutions demonstrates how the right recycling equipment can make a significant impact on a company’s operations and environmental footprint. Our Aluminum-Plastic Recycling Machine not only improved their material recovery rates but also helped them reduce waste and meet their sustainability targets.
At EcoRecycling Systems, we’re proud to be part of the global effort to create a more sustainable future, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with GreenTech Solutions as they expand their recycling capabilities.
