On January 13, 2026, recycling industry professionals from Shandong, China visited our factory to inspect our PCB recycling machinery. Their primary objective was to purchase several PCB dismantling machines to disassemble electronic components from waste circuit boards and recover pure tin through the collection and melting of desoldered tin residue.
What is a PCB Dismantling Machine?
A PCB dismantling machine (also known as a PCB components removal machine or PCB desoldering machine) is specialized equipment designed to separate various electronic components—such as heat sinks, capacitors, chips, and resistors—from waste circuit boards. This process enables the recovery of copper, tin, and precious metals including gold, silver, and palladium, achieving resource utilization and high-value processing of electronic waste while improving precious metal recovery rates and reducing environmental pollution.
Working Principle of PCB Dismantling Machines
Pre-treatment: Valuable components on waste circuit boards are identified and prepared for removal to facilitate subsequent separation.
Heating/Desoldering: Circuit boards are heated using hot air, infrared radiation, or hot melting technology to melt the solder.
Component Separation: After the molten solder solidifies, components are separated from the board base using physical methods such as vibration, airflow, magnetic force, or eddy current technology.
Sorting: Magnetic separators, eddy current separators, electrostatic separators, and airflow separators are employed to separate different materials, including ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and non-metallic materials.
