How to choose recycling equipment for used mobile phone lithium batteries?

Pubdate: 2023-03-17

About 100 million mobile phone batteries are scrapped every year, and each battery contains an average of 14.3% cobalt, 1.4% lithium, 17.8% copper, and 4.61% aluminum. So, how to use the used lithium battery for mobile phones? Here, we introduce the waste mobile phone lithium battery recycling equipment

How to use the waste mobile phone lithium battery? Invest in a complete set of lithium battery crusher equipment in our factory to crush the raw materials with a coarse crusher to less than 10mm, and then enter the particle crusher for peeling and crushing, and then enter the micropowder classifier for separation treatment, and the tail ash is separated by the subsequent cyclone separator and pulse dust collector. Collection, in order to realize the efficient separation and recovery of copper, aluminum and carbon powder of the negative electrode of waste mobile phone lithium battery.

Working principle of waste lithium battery positive and negative electrode recycling equipment:

Based on the structure of the positive and negative electrodes of the lithium battery and the material properties of its constituent materials, copper and carbon powder, the combined process of hammer crushing, vibration screening and air separation is used to separate and recover the negative electrode constituent materials of the waste lithium battery. In the experiment, ICP-AES was used to analyze the metal grade of the experimental samples and the separation and enrichment products. The results show that after crushing and screening the negative electrode material, the grade of copper in the crushed material with a particle size larger than 0.250 mm is 92.4%, and the grade of carbon powder in the crushed material with a particle size of less than 0.125 mm is 96.6%, which can be directly recovered. ; In the crushed material with a particle size of 0.125——0.250 mm, the grade of copper is low, and the effective separation and recovery of copper and carbon powder can be realized by air separation; in the air separation process, when the operating air velocity is 1.00 m/s, copper The recovery rate was 92.3%, and the grade was 84.4%.

With the wider application of lithium-ion batteries, it is of great social and economic significance to recover valuable metals in lithium-ion batteries, reduce environmental pollution, and alleviate resource scarcity.
