Large copper wire recycling machine uses dual separation technology to sort copper wire recycling and plastic

Pubdate: 2024-01-12

The environmentally friendly large-scale copper wire recycling machine has high output and purity, saves labor and has low energy consumption. The single-shaft shredder and the dual separation technology of the copper wire recycling machine generally require the following steps to separate copper wire recycling and plastic:

  1. Use a wire crusher (pulverizer) to cut the complete wire into particles with uniform particle size. In the crusher of the copper wire recycling mill, a certain number of movable knives are welded on the crusher shaft, and a certain number of fixed knives are welded on the crusher casing around the shaft. The movable knife rotates with the rotation of the crusher shaft, and interacts with the fixed knife to form a shearing force similar to scissors, which can cut the wires. A screen is installed at the bottom of the crusher, and the wires must be cut to the specified size before they enter the air separator.
  2. The crushed particles are transported to screening equipment. At present, the mainstream screening equipment includes hydraulic screening and wind screening, and some also use electrostatic screening. However, the output of electrostatic screening is very limited and is only suitable for screening plastic tailings after screening by copper wire recycling machines.
  3. The air flow separator is used in the copper wire recycling mill to screen the material particles. A fan is installed at the lower part of the air flow separator. After the material enters the air flow separator, the plastic particles with smaller density are blown up by the wind and move toward the plastic outlet end of the air flow separator under the vibration of the air flow separator. Since the copper particles are dense and cannot be blown up by the wind, these copper particles move towards the copper output end of the air flow separator under the action of vibration.
  4. Since there are a lot of materials, and scrap wires and cables are inevitably mixed with plugs and other brass-containing materials, a vibrating screen is equipped at both the copper outlet end and the plastic outlet end of the copper wire recycling machine to screen the materials processed by the copper wire recycling machine. Further screening can screen out materials with less than ideal purity for reprocessing or entering the next step of processing equipment.
  5. If the customer has a large amount of materials, it is generally recommended to add an electrostatic separator after the dry copper wire recycling machine. Because when the wires are cut in the crusher, a certain amount of copper powder (about 2%) will inevitably be produced. Due to their small mass, these copper powders will be mixed in the plastic particles. Adding an equipment to screen the plastic again, You can choose these copper powders.
  6. If the waste wires and cables are a large mass of material, it will be troublesome to manually sort them into the copper metering machine. You can add a wire shredder before the copper wire recycling machine. Tear the large ball of wire into small pieces of about 10CM, and then put them into the copper meter machine. This can not only prevent large clumps of wires from clogging the copper wire recycling machine, but also significantly improve the working efficiency of the copper wire recycling machine.

The large-scale copper metering machine for regenerating the same wires has a recovery rate of more than 99%, which allows us to effectively use more wires with limited resources at a low price, greatly reducing the financial burden on users. The whole process of crushing, sorting and dust collection is rigorous and harmonious, and is more effective than incineration or other methods.
